10 Queen

10 Queen Street is a recently renovated home in the ocean block of Queen Street. Enjoy the view of Silver Lake from either of the two screened in porches or the picture window in the living room.
On the first floor, guests will find a primary suite and hall powder room. The recently renovated kitchen features granite countertops, and it flows seamlessly into the dining space with seating for twelve. Adjoining this spacious kitchen and dining area is a luxuriously finished living space with ample space for everyone. The second floor includes four bedrooms with four baths.
There is off-street parking for three cars, plus one on-street parking permit will be provided.
Please note, the City of Rehoboth Beach does not allow parking on Queen Street between the hours of midnight and 6:00 A.M.
Property is non-smoking, and pets are strictly prohibited.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week’s stay is $305.00. To purchase the linen package please indicate on the linen addendum, an agent will be in touch with the lease agreement and additional paperwork.

  We come to Rehoboth every summer, and this is the second time we have stayed at the property. We love the spaciousness of the house. The five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, gives us ample privacy and the chef's kitchen is perfect for our family, since we do a lot of cooking during the week. The location is ideal, too: The beach is only steps away, and our little ones love to feed the turtles at the lake across the street every morning. However we did run into a few problems. There we ants in the ground floor bedroom, and even though there were ant traps out, it didn't stop them. Also, we had to call maintenance because the upstairs air conditioning didn't work. They did come immediately and the maintenance guy was very pleasant, fixed the issue and explained what the problem was. Additionally, a screen in one of the bedrooms was loose, which could have been disastrous if one of our toddlers decided she wanted to play in the window (she didn't). All in all, the house served us well, the neighbors were super-friendly, and we will probably continue to rent there in years to come.

  when arrived, we had one problem with the hot water heater not functioning. The next day we called about it. A maintenance person came and diagnosed the problem. They needed parts. Someone else brought the parts and installed them. I believe the problem is fixed. Also the most noticeable thing is the toilet in the downstairs bedroom wabbled a little. Needed shims to stabilize it. That should prevent and leaking in the future.

  We love the house and location. Appreciate annual improvements however prefer the back porch to be screened in vs open. To buggy. Also this year the fuse for the plug along stairs all in Kitchen plus along counter by seats next to sink kept tripping. Very annoying. As we reported on Thursday a fuse made a popping sound and we smelled something. This needs to be checked as it appears there is potential electrical issue. Hopefully that has been checked out. Having said that be back next year and love the house.

  This property is great for accommodating multiple families because of 5 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. And, the huge kitchen and fridge. Great view of Silver lake and access to the boardwalk. Can walk to any and all of the restaurants. Needs some minor updating as far as carpeting and the bathrooms weren't as clean as I would have liked or expected for this place

  We had a great time in Rehoboth Beach this year. 10 Queen was an excellent rental. Spacious five bedroom house. All bedrooms had their own bathroom. We enjoyed the house very much, it seemed to satisfy everyone’s needs.
  We did, however, experience one problem; the upstairs A/C stopped working Friday. We called to have someone come and fix it, however nobody came.
  What did happen was that the A/C water pan overflowed and shut off the unit. My son-in-law and I were instructed to climb into the 100 degree plus attic and unclog the drain with a wire hanger. I’m pretty sure the over flow ran down an interior wall and across the floor to the front door. I would suggest the owners get the A/C checked out by on a regular basis.
  I know it was unbelievably hot last week and for the most part the A/C performed admirably. However, for what we paid to stay there for a week, I don’t think it should be up to the renters to figure out mechanical problems.
  Like I said, we loved the house and hopefully will spend another week there next year. Hopefully there will be a better on call service system in place then. I figure, we saved the owner several hundreds of dollars; that’s not how it should work.

  Thoroughly enjoyed this house. The 5 BR/Baths were perfect for our family. Parking was a plus - we fit 4 cars into the driveway. The lake view was beautiful and very soothing. Although lots of traffic, not noisy. The close location to the ocean made walking back & forth for lunch very do-able. Also having the boardwalk at the end of the street made walks up & down it very easy. Huge fridge/freezer was a plus. Overall great stay and hope we can do it again next summer.
