22 Maryland Ave

22 Maryland Avenue is a family compound in the ocean block of Rehoboth Beach, with one of the best locations in town. Perfect for family gatherings, guests can park their cars and walk anywhere in downtown Rehoboth within a few minutes!
The main house features four bedrooms and three bathrooms for a total sleeping occupancy of ten guests. A small family or anyone wanting additional privacy can stay in the back cottage, which is included in the rental! The cottage features an additional bedroom and bathroom, plus its own living space, kitchen, and loft that the kids will love.
In the main house, the kitchen and bathrooms were recently updated to include Corian countertops. Guests will love being so close to the beach, or even relaxing on the front porch watching beach goers walk by. The backyard offers a gas grill and picnic table for family cookouts.
This home is non-smoking, and pets are prohibited.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week’s stay is $325.00. To purchase the linen package please indicate on the linen addendum, an agent will be in touch with the lease agreement and additional paperwork.

  We really liked the house, but there is water damage to the walls and roof due to leaks and leaks on the porch. The guest house toilet needs to be repaired as it is not bolted down to the floor. The air conditioner in the guest house wasn’t cooling and the compressor was making noise. There were cobwebs and bugs in the guest house, I had to clean the guest house to get rid of the bugs. The outside shower by the guest house didn’t work. My husband fixed a leak in the downstairs sink next to the washing machine.

  House is great Cottage needs new adjustable shower head or maybe handheld option for shorter people. No where to plug in lamps. Dead bugs on windowsills, 14 dark hairs in bathroom, carpet had sand in it. Clean better between tenants. Also a quieter AC. Hard to sleep. Otherwise very charming.

  Clean upon arrival. Rooms large (I would add darkening curtains). Plenty of kitchen supplies. Love the porch. Trouble with toilets, called, fixed immediately. Could fix the outside shower but there was a hose. Great communication with management. Location unbeatable.

  This is a great property for an extended family. Be aware that there is a slight mustiness in the carriage house, which made us shift the asthma group back into the house, but all was well. For awareness, the steps to the upper levels are a bit steep- no issue for us, but may an issue for others. The 1st floor bedroom is a great option for those that may be troubled by them. Overall a great home!

  Our large family had plenty of room here. We also liked having use of the cottage in the back, which was lovely. We would have liked extra outdoor/rocking chairs on the front porch. Dishware was mainly heavy glass which was not good with all of our young children. Beds in the main house were not very comfortable, but the queen in the cottage was just fine. Nice walk to and from the beach. Kids had no issues going back and forth.

  We have been coming to 22 Maryland for almost a decade. It’s a great house for our family reunions and with the addition of the little carriage house 22b even better. We had an serious AC problem which was repaired ASAP. Comfortable, well equipped and fabulous location. I do wish the windows had screens to air out on cool nights. We LOVE the front porch.

  We rented this house for a mini-family reunion, and it worked very well. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us, and all the rooms were spacious and well-apportioned. The little cottage in the backyard was also a perfect spot for three of us to sleep in/escape to for downtime. The house is in a great location less than two blocks from the boardwalk and beach, so it was easy to go to the beach for a while and come home for lunch or a rest. It’s also well-located for shopping and eating, to the point where we barely used our cars while we were there. Overall a lovely time.
